Located within a suburban context, the River Ridge House uses traditional forms with modern detailing to blend into the surrounding neighborhood yet form a strong presence on a corner lot. The design was envisioned as two gabled masses, one stone and one metal, with a glass connection between that forms the main living space. With large, glazed openings and sliding doors, this central space connects directly to the outdoor spaces of the front porch and backyard pool deck beyond.
